تغییرات معنایی غالبا با تغییر واژه همراه است. در پارهای موارد، تغییرات کیفی و کمی، با اضافه کردن پسوند، پیشوند، کمیتنماها یا کیفیتنماها در زبان صورت میپذیرد. تغییرات میتواند به صورتهای کمی،کیفی و در دو شکل کلی، ناگهانی)صفر و یک، ارسطویی( و تدریجی)طیفی، فازی( رخ دهد. تغییرات، هنگام مقایسه دو وضعیت یک مقوله در زمانهای مختلف و یا دو مقوله نسبت به هم ارزیابی میشوند درجه و درجات یکی از واژههایی است که نمادی برای این مقایسه است. اما اینکه دقیقا منظور از درجات کدام نوع از تغییر است محل بحث است. این نوشتار با نگاهی به استعاره مفهومی درجه در قرآن، تغییرات معنایی واژه را در حالتهای مختلف بررسی میکند و مدل پرسپکتیو معنا را معرفی میکند. ارایه مدل تصویری تغییرات از منظر شناختی، گامی در جهت بیرون کشیدن طرحوارههای تصویری از ناخودآگاه به سمت خودآگاه است تا بدین وسیله قابل کنترل و مدیریت شوند.

The Semantic changes are often associated with the change of term. In some cases, the qualitative and quantitative changes are made by addition of suffix, prefix, quantifier or qualifier. The changes may be qualitative or quantitative and take two broad forms: sudden (zero and one or Aristotelian and gradual (spectral or fuzzy). The changes are measured by comparing two conditions of one thing in two different times or two different categories. Darajah (and its plural form darajaat) is a term used as a measure of such comparison. However, what kind of change darajat exactly refers to is a disputed matter. This paper tried to study the semantic changes of term under different scenarios based on conceptual metaphor of darajah as used in the Qur’an and to provide the model of perspective of meaning.
